I never knew the man had had a pipe organ built in his home (http://www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~knuth/organ.html). How on earth the the first published references to this instrument were in '..the index to Volume 3 of The Art of Computer Programming (1973), under the entry ''Royalties, use of'' ' is a complete mystery. I wonder if he ever has time to play it.
