My choir just made a recording. We were in Churchill College's chapel, which has some fine stained glass and a Dali-esque cross, but too many brutal square concrete pillars for my liking.
It's curious how much less tiring it is (for the voice -- not for the brain or legs) to spend a whole weekend recording than to do one concert.
